7th-12th December
Corinna went on a Geography field trip to northern hills of Thailand on the outskirts of a large cillage called Ban Thaton, about 3 hours by road from Chiang Mai, 1 1/4 hours from Chiang Rai and the border with myanmar (formerley Burma) is only a few kms away.
Fieldwork studies includes:
-river channel variable of the tributary rivers of the Maekok River
-river pollution studies
-migration studies
-agricultural impact
They also had a chance to trek and try their hand at Thai cookery
