Simply Red Concert & 19th WA

Simply Red were doing a Final Tour for one night at the Indoor Stadium so we went along. Slighty strange having to sit in seats, but that didn't last too long. Its so easy to go to a concert here, and very civilized, and luckily air conditioned.

We then went to the Swiss Hotel for a glass of bubbly on the 70th floor. Where did those last 19 years go?

There were lots of concerts and visual delights on the Padang over the weekend

Niall took Archie and Douglas to the Saturday night qualifying round of the 3rd F1 in Singapore. They had walkabout tickets for the area around the Padang which had had all the turf lifted and matting had been put down, but as it had rained everyday that week, the mud just came through the matting.........

Dressage & Jumping Competition 25th Sept 2010

Corinna had a Dressage competition on the saturday and came 2nd, then on the sunday she jumped 65cm and 70cm - it was one of Mo's first Dressage competititons and also Jumping competitions and it was all a little scary for Mo.

Archie looks like he got stung by a jellyfish and was extrmely burnt, even having used spf 50 - it didn't work very well!


They had great fun jumping off the boat and swimming to shore - they went to Lazarus Island just off Singapore.

Archie went to a 12th Birthday Party on a Catarmaran with lots of friends

It rained and rained and tennis got cancelled


Its the black line going from the blue trampoline to the right, it was about 5ft long

We had great excitement or anticipation as a Spitting Cobra was sighted eating a mouse on next doors lawn. they have 3 little girls and the smallest is one, a great target for a Cobra. Pest Control were called and the Cobra was despatched with large metal jemmy and paving stone and chucked in a bag - I hope the rats don't come back.

Marina Bay Sands Resort with the Sky Park/Boat - where we took Will and Tove for a great view of Singapore

We spent saturday evening going from the Fullerton Hotel to Clarke Quay, but before we ate, we just had to go past Extreme bungee - they decided to go for a Swing!!!!!!!!!!!
