Thank goodness for Plastic Surgeons!

two and a half hours later and Doug is desperate to get home to clean his bike and see what damage has been caused!

A dose of antibiotics and a hefty bill later, we went home.

I asked for the Plastic Surgeon to come and do the operation - Doug's wound was cleaned, trimmed up and then closed with 3 layers of sutures - about 9+ and then covered in steri-strips

He was filthy - covered from head to toe in mud and sand and was rather ripe!

a very deep jagged cut - luckily it didn't go through to the other side.
His teeth seem to be in tact as do his train tracks

Doug went off for the day with some friends to do some stuff on his bike and ended up at the school jumps where they wer doing some tricks, Doug was being filmed and he thought he would do one more jump for the day before he came home.

He called me - come NOW to the school jumps I have cut my chin............

Funny selection - Father Christmas is sleeping it off

not keen on his hairy chest!

oh please try and smile - waiting for the school bus and 1 more day of school

A House day at school

The 3 generations of Willoughby's popped in for tea Jamie with Jack, Chloe & Granny Jo and Tony

Sleeping it off - the rum or the hard work at school!

Father Christmas was sneaking through the kitchen and thinks he has got away with pinching a chocolate fairy cake covered with sprinkles!

Lightning strikes and how close was that!

the last bit to be removed, they spent all day cutting the tree up and taking it away

We had a huge thunder and lightning storm and Corinna thoght the Rain Tree next door was struck, there was a mighty flash.
The next day we looked out of the window and there was a HUGE gap in our treeline - the rain tree had broken off where the lightning had earthed and the tree had fallen away from our house and pool, away from the railway line and had missed the Electricity station. The only things damaged where two fences.

Shuna, David and Sophie visit on their way to NZ

just time to squeeze in that manicure and pedicure ready for pretty feet

watch out Sophie, now you have moved down from Edinburgh, Corinna will be on your doorstep! where has the 10 year age difference gone - double trouble together

time for a tasty lunch in China Town - delish

Sophie is feeling more tropical

On the top of the Sky Park 58 floors up, just had an electrical storm and all our hair was on end

Mirror mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all - well I think its Corinna, over 2 years in Asia and she is still as luminously pinky white as ever!

Shuna is in need of a lovely relaxing holiday with fresh air and sunshine - NZ should be the place

Corinna was home for 18 hours of their visit

Shuna, David and Sophie had a fleeting visit to us on 12-13th December on their way to spend Christmas with James and Jen in NZealand

Centaurs Rugby Tournament & Cup of Nations 4-5 Dec

U13&U14 Scotland team - boys from various clubs joining together

The Sunday - Cup of Nations - the sun was out and the sky was blue

Doug chose to play for Scotland - he wasn't so keen on the purple strip!

The boys got through to the final

think I have gone mad, or maybe its the mud!

what a hideous shirt I am wearing, but it was a Centaurs supporters shirt - NOT my colour, but stilll!

who was the sensible one in wellies - Corinna had been riding earlier and came prepared!

The best way to get about was in bare feet - easy to wash and didn't make the mud splatter up your back!

once they had got through to the plate & semi we went back over to the Polo Club - the Field had much better drainage, but still looked like a mud bath!

you can see the puddles and the rain!

Oh what a lovely sight - can't taste too good either - boys loved it, although there was no grip on the ground and the ball just died .

The Centaurs Rugby Tournament was held at the Singapore Polo Club apart from the U14's which was held at St Josephs Intl School which had absolutely NO drainage. The heavens opened and fat rain was in abundance - the boys were all the same colour - brown with deep muddy puddles everywhere!
