Maharajas and Mangoes - Riding for the Disabled Ball 16th May
We organised a table for the RDA Ball, the theme being Exotic Indian - such fun and so colourful. Great food, music, auction and company.
Cocktail party for my Birthday! and a Soft Top Mini!
The boys decided to give me a Soft Top Mini for my birthday, a red one too - and they love driving it. I had lots of lovely Birthday cards and flowers. Thankyou
The Royal Navy very kindly held a cocktail party on HMS Bulwark on the evening of my birthday, while Chris was out here for the International Marine Defence Exhibition.
Chris came for supper on 11th May and we met up again onboard on 13th.

R&R in Langkawi
I forgot the banana boat ride!
All the kids and I tried our hands at Batik painting which was very therapeutic; they went kayaking, jet skiing, swimming in the sea and pool, and of course cocktails were enjoyed by all along with the amazing sunsets
We went for a week and on our first day we had rain!! luckily it didn't mar the rest of our holiday

Night Safari
We popped in to Raffles for a peak and had lunch in China Town in torrential rain, it was then time to go off to Langkawi (an island off the west coast of Malaysia) for a week.
We went on the Singapore Flyer and had a pod to ourselves. Corinna, Sabrina, Olivia, Douglas and Archie in the Flyer's garden

Life in Singapore March/April 2009
Emerald Hill - a road full of Shophouses. This one is particularly elaborate. They are deceptively spaciouis inside.
Archie's year group performed a selection of Broadway Musicals - his class were Zorro and had great fun dancing and singing. I made 24 gold tail/waistcoats for another class - never again - Yes has been lasered off my forehead and it now says NO! It was great fun getting to know the kids more.
