We flew to Christchurch on Air Asia via KL - never again, but Niall and I flew business class which was very nice, for the price of a normal economy fare.

We hired a car at Christchurch airport and drove straight to the Banks peninsular and Akaroa, which is a little French Village nestled in a volcanic crater on the edge of the sea
