Doug, Sam and Ed ventured off on the train to Windemere for a week under canvas with Woodsmoke - Junior Bushcraft survival, and came back having had a great time, with their survival knife each and lots of dirty clothes. don't ask them to identify mushrooms - you would be poisoned, and not too keen gutting a fish, but give them a piece of wood or a fire
